Bob Marley Jacket

Hello Superstars,

My love for Bob Marley's music and philosophy on life started at an early age. I remember bobbing my head in the backseat of my dad's car at the age of five to "I Shot the Sheriff." I hummed that song throughout my childhood until I got into my preteens and was able to research more about the artist. I could dedicate this post to sharing facts about Mr. Marley's life, but I think you would be more excited to see what I got that reminds me of him.

Superstars, take a look at this Bob Marley esque jacket. I was able to score this renewed Levi bad boy at a recent 30% off sale items event at Urban Outfitters. I have been eyeing this jacket for months, but I have not ever been a fan of paying full price for
items. Plus, good things come to those who wait.
This jacket was originally around $50 marked down to $40,and I got it for $30. Talk about a deal. I love that this isn't your standard, fitted denim jacket. It's very similar to something that would have been found in Bob Marley's closet. It's oversized, it has detail, and it is something your boyfriend will be majorly jealous of. Don't worry if don't have a boyfriend *cough, cough myself* I'm sure there is another man in your life craving this jacket * cough, cough my dad*. The sizing makes this jacket ideal for LBDs or going all out boho. I have not worn this yet, but when I do (which will be a lot) I will think of Bob

Never Too Short to Fall

Never Too Short to Fall

Never Too Short to Fall by saraheoutlet featuring a lip gloss

Hello Superstars,
As you can see, I love transitioning into fall. Flowy dresses, rompers, and the frilly shorts are key pieces this year that will stay in your closet from summer to fall. All you need is a knit sweater or card, tights, or knee highs. If you have all those items, then you have the opportunity of creating more outfits. This Free People romper is absolute perfection. Just look at the colors. This is perfect for late September early October weather because these are soft fall shades. With outfits I like to pick one bold color to accessorize around. In the romper, I notice the purple, plum color. That is going to be the bold color we accessorize around. To do this you can either throw on plum knit sweater to give a semi boyish style with a flirty cream knee high. Or go for a softer look with a cream open cardi and a bold tight. I think either outfit is fabulous, especially if it is paired with the new fall obsession, clogs. If you asked a few years ago how I felt about clogs, I probably would stuck my tongue out in disgust. Now I admire this shoe that could be wearable for a woman over 40 to a teenager starting out wearing a heel. I think the universal hairstyle for fall is the messy bun. Everyone loves it, and anyone can do it, even with short hair. Dab on nice feminine but warm scent like Marc Jacobs Lola, which is my personal favorite. Matte plum lips a must for the upcoming season. But plum is already a big component in this outfit, so opt for a light nude. There you have it a day closer to fall, and one more outfit to transition in.

Baby It Up

Baby It Up

Baby It Up by saraheoutlet featuring a doll dress

Hello Superstars,
Although it will be cooling down this fall, the babydoll dress is going to be a big trend. I know, I know, you thought fall would be your time to get away with not shaving your legs. Trust me, the babydoll dress will be worth it. The babydoll trend was a favorite of mine during my fifth grade year. That's why I'm ecstatic it's coming back. Above I decided to show you two styles featuring the babydoll dress: one being a bit edgy and the other a bit preppy. One of my favorite things about fall, is the ability to calm down a floral print and make it wearable in cooler weather. The color and looseness of this dress doesn't make it "springy". I decided to have one common item between the outfits, a black knee high sock. I love seeing a nice knee high paired with a dress. Unlike a tight, it does not fully cover the leg but showcases it, all while keeping you warm. For more of an edge, add a black sueded creeper shoe. It gives the outfit that something -something it needs. Moving on to the preppy outfit. I feel adding a cardigan to any outfit can make it preppy especially if the color scheme is more autumn like. An oxford is also an easy way of transforming an outfit into a flirty prep school chic. You can always pull a Blair Waldorf and add a headband. But what I prefer to see with this outfit is a high pony. Messy or sleek, it's your choice. Superstars, I hope this help you with transitioning your summer clothes or adding new pieces to your fall wardrobe.
