Pretend OOTDs

Hello Superstars,
Remember those days of playing dress up in your mother's closet. Or even today when you add tons of clothes to an online checkout bag that you know you cannot afford. Well, I would like to combine the two in a Outfit of the Day series. I am a lover of fashion, but I have a problem. As much as I would like to think I have places to go, I have nowhere to go. So those hours of planning outfits and searching online for clothes I wish I could afford, are just a waste. Thankfully, I came up with the idea of creating a series here on my blog. I search the web for outfits I wish I could where places, all while giving you inspiration with the creating outfits of your own. If you would like to see this series, then type your e-mail address to the right to see where I am going with this.
                                                                                            Happy Styling Superstars,
                                                                                            Sarah E.

First Aid Beauty Tip

Hello Superstars,
I know we have all encounter a beauty scare that required first aid attention like a razor cut or a scratch to the face. In my case, I experienced the nightmare of being burned with wax while getting my eyebrows done. Since I have been going to the same "waxer" for three years, I believe it was just an accident of having the wax heating for too long. My skin the brows, especially under the arch, did turn the color of raspberry lemonade, and I experienced excruciating pain that came with every movement of my face. The pain did not last for long with the tip I am about to share. I do not recommend a cream for burns since we are dealing with the area around the eye( and let's be honest you do not want your eyes to sting... ain't nobody got time for that). Instead, use a Vitamin E oil or Vaseline day and night. Or if you do not mind walking around with the  extra oil use both. Believe me these two moisturizers are going to heal your scars and do it quickly! I remember the second night of applying both the Vitamin E and Vaseline, and waking up to beautiful eyebrows that were scar free. If too much hair was waxed off, the two Vs (A.K.A. Vitamin E and Vaseline) will help grow the hair back as well.  So, if you ever encounter this situation I hope you use my tip!
                                                                                       Stay Scar- Free,
                                                                                       Sarah E.

Part 2 Wrap it Up!

Hello Superstars,
It is the time of year where everyone in the U.S. is experiencing the start of high temperatures. We are finding ways for our makeup not to smear off and ways to classy and chic in the least amount of clothes. Those are normally the harder things to do on the beauty spectrum, but when it comes to hair that is the easiest. We can easily throw our hair in a bun or braid into an intricate design. Even with those hairstyles, you need to spice it up.
Head wraps or turbans, have currently been the item I used to spice up my hair while keeping it out of my face. The item can be easily found in fabric form at Forever21 or Urban Outfitters. You can find the classy rhinestoned head wraps at New York and Company or the Flower Child style on Tobi.com. It is not necessary to go out and buy the wrap. Use an old bandana or cut a strip of an old scarf to create your own. Beauty gurus like Meganheartsmakeup and KandeeJohnson have created tutorials to make the style accessible to everyone. Whether you choose to buy the headwrap or make it yourself, there are plenty of ways to style your hair with wrap. Tease your hair up for a Southern Belle effect, wrap your hair around a curler barrel or wand for the boho effect, or throw messy hair into a bun for the "Look I Tried" effect.
                                                                                  Style it up Superstars,
                                                                                  Sarah E.

Little Black Dresses

Hello Superstars,
In my last post, I focused on the free and flirty long white dresses. Today, I want to focus on short and flirty black dress. Can I get a cat purr? It is essential to have a little black dress, but in the summer it should be bit looser and a tad shorter. Here are a few I love:

Sorry for the blurred images, but these dresses can be found at Brandy Melville. When it comes to a LBD, less is always more. So, all you will need to do is pair it with converse (solid or floral printed), charm or tribal bracelets, and messy topknot or ponytail.

I feel with theses dresses you can play them up more with jewelry. With the first dress you can pair with an intense choker or a chic bib necklaces ( easily accessible at Forever21) or studded sneakers
or a nicely broken in pair of short calf height boots. As for the second dress, the cut out designed              waist is a bold enough accessory. All you need is cute leather sandal or an even a pair of floral oxfords.

Long White Dresses

Let's be honest summer is the best time to go pantless. I'm not talking going out completely bare, but this is the time to get rid of the skinnies and flare leg jeans. That leaves you with cute short shorts which you could practically live in. Every now and then you want to dress up a little and be cute and flirty. That's when long white maxis come in handy. Here are two trendy dresses:
The amazing thing about white dresses is that you can practically find them everywhere in every style. The first dress is beautifully knitted in lace with a side slit and V cut in the back. As for the second dress, it is your simple white dress. Just like a basic white tee you can dress this up with a thrifted flannel, wear combat or western style boots, or put on your rough and tough denim or leather jacket. For a night on the town, dress up both outfits with gold jewelry. Go out and find your white dress!
                                                                                    Love ya Superstars,
                                                                                    Sarah E.

I'm Bringing Sarah Back!

Hello Superstars,
WooHoo! That is what I have been yelling to the world since 3:33 on Thursday. I am finally out of school.  That means no more finals, no more 90 minute classes, and no more dealing with annoying people. Well, until August, but I have plenty of time. Like I promised I am going to update much more now that school is out. I don't want to give away the type of post I will put on here, but they will be coming frequently. Get ready, and subscribe by e-mail to the right of the page!
                                                                                 Peace Out,
                                                                                 Sarah E.
