Hello Superstars,
It is the time of year where everyone in the U.S. is experiencing the start of high temperatures. We are finding ways for our makeup not to smear off and ways to classy and chic in the least amount of clothes. Those are normally the harder things to do on the beauty spectrum, but when it comes to hair that is the easiest. We can easily throw our hair in a bun or braid into an intricate design. Even with those hairstyles, you need to spice it up.
Head wraps or turbans, have currently been the item I used to spice up my hair while keeping it out of my face. The item can be easily found in fabric form at Forever21 or Urban Outfitters. You can find the classy rhinestoned head wraps at New York and Company or the Flower Child style on Tobi.com. It is not necessary to go out and buy the wrap. Use an old bandana or cut a strip of an old scarf to create your own. Beauty gurus like Meganheartsmakeup and KandeeJohnson have created tutorials to make the style accessible to everyone. Whether you choose to buy the headwrap or make it yourself, there are plenty of ways to style your hair with wrap. Tease your hair up for a Southern Belle effect, wrap your hair around a curler barrel or wand for the boho effect, or throw messy hair into a bun for the "Look I Tried" effect.
Style it up Superstars,
Sarah E.
