Today, I was inspired by the lovely songstress, Lana Del Rey. The young talent is the full package: gorgeous, amazing vocalist, and a brilliant songwriter. One of the lines in "National Anthem", which was a beautiful masterpiece, she says," Put on your mascara and your party dress." Immediately, I thought of a classy 1960's cocktail party. I pictured a brunette with a pin-up hairstyle answering the door for an investment banker with glass of scotch in her hand. The image was so clear in my head that I was able to re- create accurately. Green party dresses have always been my obsession especially ones with a retro touch. I love this dress because it is the total 60's party dress. The woman in my head had on strappy heels like the ones above. Of course, I had to add a bit of spice to the outfit. To make the dress more modern and glamorous add a fuschia heel like the one I chose. You also have two options with the earrings: you can choose the pair with a pop and are compliment worthy or the pair you wouldn't mind losing on the dance floor. Girlfriend, do not forget your mascara. My favorite of the moment is the essential Maybelline Great Lash. It coats every lash, drawing attention to your eyes. So tonight, have a party.
